T’s for the Trust launch

Tonight we’re heading over to the launch of the “T’s for the Trust” campaign, which is a collaboration with the Prince’s Trust, River Island, Walé Adeyemi and artists Alesha Dixon, Pixie Lott, Kelly Rowland and Kid British. Walé and his label B-side by Walé are our partners in crime and was the creative director and initator of the project, so we’ll be tagging along to chat  to Pixie about her fantastic new video for “Cry Me Out”, which we absolutely love! And by the way, did you know that all the three ladies above are FashAddict fans?!

There’s No Place Like Home

As true fashion lovers we’re always rooting for other fellow designers trying to get a break in the wonderful world of fashion. Peggy Noland, an US based self-taught designer, is definitely one to watch. She has dressed LoveFoxx from CSS in her famously wacky stage costumes, aswell as sewing hair weaves for Falvor Flav. She says her home city of Kansas is a “hidden gem” and has filled her with creative inspiration with the continuous support of the exciteable community (“Is this starting to sound a bit cultish? Good!”). Her collection is an oversized array of polkda dot, bright clashing patterns and even giant quilted nappies!

Duke & Duchess enters party season in Topshop

We have now officially entered party season mode here at the FashAddict studio. We’ve got dance tunes on all day long and today we’ve even had chocolate cake for lunch! Our Topshop concession has also entered the party season with some great new party pieces, such as this metallic foil print dress with fabulous puffy shoulders modelled by Flavia The Mannequin.

Here in New York this week I fell in love with Only Hearts latest, limited-edition vintage lingerie collection. Created by Helena Stuart a few decades ago in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, her vintage and ready-to-wear collections have expanded across the globe and become one of my favorite shops to find timeless additions for your wardrobe. Earlier this week, Sienna Miller was grazing the racks, and their collection launch party attracted quite the crowd Wednesday evening. Pictured here is Helena Stuart and daughter, Kaya, along with some of their collection highlights.

We’ll be going down to the Den and Centro on Sunday nights for Back 2 Life! With weekly residents Jazzie B, Spin Doctor and Dom Versell we’ll be dancing til the early hours of the morning…
