Next week, 7-13th June, is not only Graduate Fashion Week it is also London Jewellery week. With brands such as Erickson Beamon, Liberty and Wolf and Badger taking part in events across London, the week is a perfect celebration of London’s creativity and success within the jewellery industry. And what brand better epitomizes the glamour of a whole week dedicated to jewels and gemstones than Tiffany & Co? Tiffany is of course infamous for its starring role, alongside screen icon, Audrey Hepburn, in the 1961 film, Breakfast At Tiffany’s and has been a by-word for elegance ever since.
Adding a splash of old-school, high-end Glamour the jewellers are providing a particularly exciting highlight to the week. The classic brand is to display a new exhibition, at their Bond Street store, entitled American Glamour 1930s-1950s: Jewellery from the Tiffany & Co Archives.
Featuring rarely seen, vintage pieces this event promises an exclusive peek into the decadence of a by-gone era and will undoubtedly provide inspiration, from the past, for the jewels we’d love to wear here and now.
