Animal advocates, Moby enthusiasts and book lovers came together Tuesday night at powerHouse Arena in Brooklyn to celebrate Moby’s latest, Gristle, From Factory Farms to Food Safety. A collaboration between Moby and food policy activist Miyun Park, the book is compiled of essays from other food experts to give us the lowdown on what really is behind all the meat we consume. Besides of course hanging out with Moby for a night, the next best thing was seeing the warm weather wardrobes out in style. My favorite–June’s fantastic white jumpsuit, acid wash jean jacket and black and white sandals. It doesn’t get much better than spring in Brooklyn.
