Anna to Auction a Week at Vogue

There has been a recent rise in fashion companies auctioning off internships in aid of chosen charities, allowing those rich enough to have an experience that is probably far from the usual tea-making tasks. Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of Vogue,  is auctioning, not an internship, but seven enviable days at the fashion magazine. The bidding starts at $1,000, but is estimated to reach over $10,000 for a week at the Times Square offices, which includes getting to meet the legendary Ms. Wintour. And who says money can’t buy happiness…

kinda defeats the purpose of working hard to get a vogue internship, then again it’s for charity so does that make it okay?

  2. Yes, that makes it okay. It’s for the cause. I’m sure there will be a ton of hard-working Vogue interns there who will be there for much longer than a week.

  3. Yeah I doubt anyone who can afford to splash out $10,000 on one week at Vogue needs a work placement 🙂
