LFW: Osman

Yesterday morning the fashion glitterati flocked to Somerset House to see Osman’s collection go down the runway. Speaking on the inspiration for his collection Osman said “I am intrigued by how powerful female figures in different cultures and different periods, often use dress as a means of revealing or underlining their strength and presence.” And his clothes certainly mirrored this, strong and gorgeous the bright colours mixed with dark shades and beautiful tailoring felt empowered, and on the subject of important female figures, we spotted Sarah Brown on the front row. We wonder if she got the level of fashion envy from the jewel encrusted wedges and sparkling cropped jumpers as we did?

  1. I loved the embellishment on parts of the garments, like on a cuff or bust. Also the shirt that was half beige and half coral pink, teamed with blue tailored trousers. A fur cocoon coat was fanatstic as well, with funnel collar and huge armholes. Lastly the oversised fusia foldover clutch bags were great. It was all really elegant but fresh.
