NYFW: Erro

There’s nothing quite like kicking off New York Fashion Week with a little blast of blizzard like conditions, causing the streets of Manhattan to be covered in snow higher than those lovely five inch heels. But that didn’t stop the shows from rolling, and I ventured out tonight to see what ERRO by Anna Larson has to offer for next fall. With a downtown chic vibe, the collection was filled with twilight colors, textures layered just right and killer combos of leathers, knits and furs. As Anna’s inspiration, “I see this idea of detachment, of taking something apart and using the pieces in unexpected ways, as another exploration of the beauty of imperfection….You make a jacket a vest, you shift a shirt around so it has different shape. You create your own experience of your clothes. To me, that’s beautiful.” Check out the snapshots. More to come this weekend. With love from snowy NYC. xx
