Megan fox and Beverly Hills 90210 Star Brian Austin Green tied the knot in a small service at the Four Season’s Resort on the tropical island of Hawaii yesterday.
A spokesperson said “They had to call in local security because the hotel security alone wouldn’t do. It was very hush hush. Everyone was sworn to secrecy. It seemed like a spur of the moment thing.”
Girl’s you can now let out your boyfriends because the Fox is officially off the market.
For those of us that aren’t jetting off to sunnier tropical climates this summer, it seems difficult to justify the purchase of a new bikini and an embellished kaftan… however when the weather is warm, the city is unbearably humid and sweaty.
So this week I’ve put together a couple of looks to help you look your best on a hot day in the big smoke, whilst you are keeping as cool as possible. Channeling the safari trend for city wear is a fresh new take on your summer wardrobe, a welcome change from all the floral prints and romantic pastel shades. Team earthy colours with slouchy fabrics, a pair of gladiators and a great hat then you are good to go. I love the “Beth” shorts Va Vizuri currently have in stock and putting them with the black leopard print cardigan from To Love Kuvaa is another nod to the jungle safari look. If you would prefer to be a bit more covered up and avoid the chance of sun burnt legs then grab the buckle detail harem pants and drapey vest from Brick Lanes Finest and you are sorted.
Now you have no excuse to not be looking slick in the city in every season.
This weekend was Glastonbury weekend and for once the weather didn’t disappoint! One for all you sneaker freaks, Nike 78 is a new project created to merge cutting edge design talent and the trusty Nike trainer. The 78 refers to the 78 creatives who will each be sent a new pair of Nikes and, using sport as inspiration, will challenge their traditional function and create weird and wonderful new interpretations of the footwear. The progress of these inspired ventures can be tracked at nike78.co.uk and will eventually be collated into an exhibition to feature in the London Design Festival in September.
Highlights include Erica Dorn’s mouth-watering Marathon Cake which is the exact negative calorific value of a marathon; all shaped beautifully into a trainer with pink laces to boot and Fred Butler and Chrissie Abbott’s Lets Get This Shoe On The Road remote control car Nikes.
Today as I was listening to the radio I heard there was a bikini that has a bottle opener attached. I laughed and imagined what on earth that would look like. It’s obviously for couples, could you imagine a random guy coming up to you and popping the lid off his beer? He would get a slap!
That said these bikini’s look really nice, I’d say go on girls go out and buy one especially if you gotta guy he will really love it.

Just another element of multi-tasking, employees of Harrods can now get a BA (HONS) Sales Degree exclusively at Harrods.
It’s a 24 month course with modules on human behaviour, psychology and business enterprise.
The degree is free with no tuition costs and lectures will take place during normal working hours and to me that sounds like the best bit.
So if any of you out there are thinking about spending thousands to go university try getting into Harrods, get a degree free, get paid all at the same time and maybe you might learn something about shopping psychology, product knowledge and all that jazz.
“Broken sentences and forgotten names wink like fossils among the ruins” (Iain Sinclair, ‘Lights Out for the Territory’)
London’s Royal Academy of arts annually holds it RA Schools Show to, each summer, display graduates work and showcase the emerging talents of London. With academicians such as Tracey Emin behind the event, this is an extremely exciting date in the art calendar and Juliette Losq is tipped as the one to watch for 2010. The 31-year old Londoner creates captivating landscapes, brilliantly executed in an almost photographic style that whisk the viewer away to all together different time and place.
“Drifting purposefully is the recommended mode”(Iain Sinclair, ‘Lights Out for the Territory’)
Instead of idealistic and typically pretty settings, the collection of beautiful drawings and paintings focus on derelict and forgotten places. This allows the viewer’s imagination to wander through the image, piecing together what might have gone on there. For the Summer Show, Losq will be displaying a range of works that focus on dilapidated interiors just as enchanting as her outdoor spaces. Remember her name.

If you are one of the lucky ones jetting off to a palm tree lined beach this summer I know what a nightmare it can be to put together looks that suit a whole different climate – so I thought I’d give you a hand with your packing! This summer I think its all about bright tones and tropical motifs. Our very own “To Love Kuvaa” range has everything you could possibly need – and my key items I think you shouldn’t be without for your holiday this year is the “Sara” hat, the “Flower” playsuit and a straw hat which can be dressed up with chunky jewelery in the evenings and paired with anything from denim shorts to a high waisted skirt. I particularly love this look with a soft grey cardigan (this style is “Vicky”) – a look that works just as well for festivals and for summers in the city.
Add a cute bikini, some chunky wooden wedges and a big pair of sunnies then you are good to go! Oh, and don’t forget your suncream! Happy Holidays!
