Each year the British Fashion Council run a talent support scheme called Fashion Forward, sponsored by Coutts & Co and supported by the London Development Agency. This year the (well deserved we must say) winner is much loved Londoner Louise Goldin. Although last year Christopher Kane, Erdem and Marios Schwab were made to share the prize, this year Louise gets it all to herself. Louise will receive sponsorship for two seasons to enable her to show at London Fashion Week in February and September. Goldin beat off the likes of Basso & Brooke, Emilio de la Morena, Jean-Pierre Braganza, Osman and Todd Lynn to the prize. We’d be feeling pretty chuffed right now if we were her, so here’s some of her S/S 10 collection just to say ‘well done Louise!’
